Memories

From Cheri Ledig

Sharon was never one to give in to life's obstacles. She fought this last one with courage and strength. I knew her for over 50 years and will always admire that ability she had that so few of us are privileged to posess. Peace in your next life, my friend.

Sharon was a dear friend for many years. I worked with her at the Ferndale Food Bank and saw a person who truly loved helping people. With her guidance and dedication, a much needed new building became a reality. She will be missed by her family, friends and the community.

My late husband John and I worked at the Ferndale Food Bank for 32 years and many of the later years were under Sharon's guidance. She had a true giving spirit and we worked well together in bringing a much needed service to the community. She was a kind and loving friend. My brother Robert and I send condolences and prayers to the family. May your sadness give way to wonderful memories.

Like so many others, I had the opportunity to work with Sharon at the Ferndale Food Bank. I have thought of her often over the years and am so sorry to hear of her passing. Her kind heart and passion for helping others is something I will carry with me for the rest of my life. Thank you for sharing her with so many.

I've been in Arizona for the past month and didn't hear until recently about Sharon's passing. I too worked at the food bank with Sharon.

I don't think I ever respected anyone more than Sharon....Very respectful of peoples feelings and VERY dedicated to her cause. She

always seemed to be on top of things...  i only wished we would have seen each other more after her retirement....What a great individual!

My sincere condolences to her family and friends.... Monty
