She was a dedicated teacher for nearly 30 years at Fisher Elementary School in Lynden, WA. Joy had a beautiful voice. She sang in several women's choruses including Sweet Adelines and Valley Voices. Joy had many incredible lifelong friends.

At Joy's request, there will be no viewing or funeral service. A gathering for family and friends to celebrate her life will be held at a later date.

Our deepest sympathies in the loss of a wonderful lady.  Joy and Frank warmly welcomed us into their home in Lynden when we were attending Trinity Western and far from home.  We will always appreciate her love and kindness.
