Laura Ross

Laura Ross, age 59, of Lynden, Washington, passed away on Monday Dec 11 , 2016 at St. Josephs Medical Center after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife of Robert Ross of Pinebush, NY.

Laura was born in Brooklyn, New York on August 14, 1957 and grew up in Brooklyn and Long Island, New York. She was the daughter of the late Robert J. Pratt and the late Evelyn (Simpson) Pratt. Besides her husband Robert, Laura leaves her son and Daughter in law, Kyle and Mekenzie Ross of Pinebush, NY, and sister and bro-in-law Lynn and Edward Obrien, Ellen and John Ace, and her brother and sis-in-law Robert J. Pratt Jr. and Julie Pratt, and many nieces and nephews.

Laura was an incredible person and loved to spend time serving others. Her life was defined by the sacrificial giving to all in need and her legacy will live on through the people she selflessly served. She also enjoyed church, reading her bible, and making jewelry.

As a four time cancer survivor, Laura dealt with every one of them with an incredible attitude and faith and was an example to all. Even through her sickness she continued to serve and always thought of others before her own needs.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 20th at 10:00 am at Christ the King Community Church in Bellingham. Address is 4173 Meridian St., Bellingham, WA. 98226
