Mary Ann Brown passed away on the morning of Nov. 17, 2016. She was born on June 25, 1948 to Angela and Kenneth Linderman and graduated from Mount Baker High School in 1966. Mary Ann was a proud member of the Mount Baker High School Marching Band, and a Mountaineer cheerleader. She married her high school sweetheart on July 28, 1967.

Mary Ann worked for 33 years as a customer service representative at Puget Sound Energy. She also was the Secretary/Treasury for Larry Brown Construction from 1979 until June of 2016. Mary Ann was a lifetime member of the St. Peter's Catholic Church. She was an avid baseball and basketball fan. She was a lifelong Mariner Fan (win or lose she loved them). High school basketball was a favorite pastime, and she spent many years watching every state tournament basketball game.

Grandma Mary Ann was her beloved grandchildren's biggest supporter, whether it be showing animals at the fair, playing basketball, baseball, fastpitch, or performing in the school bands.

Mary Ann is survived by her husband Larry of 49 years; sons Toby (Sherry) Brown, Chris Brown and daughter Julie (Jay R) Harkness; grandchildren Kelcey, Nicholas, Kaitlyn and Alex Brown, Brooke, Bailey and Tanner Harkness; mother Angela Grimes; siblings Joe (Gloria) Linderman, Rosanne Linderman, Suzanne (Gary) Grimes, Guy Linderman, Harry (Karen) Grimes, Randy Grimes, Judy Brown, Virginia Lowe, Robert (Renea) Brown, Arlene (Chuck) Anderson, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father Kenneth Linderman, step-father Delbert Grimes, and her in-laws Vernon and Iola Brown.

Memorial donations can be made to St. Peters Catholic Church Youth Program or the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation.
