David Danny Roy Dunning
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2022 at 1:00 pm at the Squalicum Boathouse, 2600 N Harbor Loop Dr, Bellingham, WA. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the National Blood Clot Alliance.
David Danny Roy Dunning, age 52, loving husband, father, brother and uncle, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 9, 2022.
Dave was born on March 21, 1970 in Fort Lewis, WA to Sharon Lynn Dunning & Danny E. Dunning. He went to school in Bothell. He met and then married his high school sweetheart, Suzie Marie Kreider.
He loved his family’s homestead in Moyie Springs, Idaho and often traveled there to enjoy it. He spent 10 summers on a fishing boat in Alaska with his father-in-law. He could fix anything and everything and was always willing to help out his family and friends. Dave’s greatest love was spending time with his family. His love and dedication to his wife and daughter was inspiring. His mom will miss his daily calls to check in with her. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Dave was preceded in death by his father, Danny Dunning; grandparents, Roy & Shirley Dunning and Jack & Vivian Sims. Dave leaves behind his wife and side by side partner of more than 30 years Suzie; daughter, Lindsey Dunning; mother, Sharon Sims Dunning, sister Tammy (Allan) Hanson; parents-in-law, Gary & Ellen Kreider; brother-in-law, Greg Kreider, and nieces & nephews.
