Ronaye Peppar

Ronaye Peppar , age 76, passed away on Monday, May 17th, 2021, at St. Joseph Hospital in Bellingham, WA.

She was born March 22nd, 1945 in Escanaba, MI to Rhoda (Williams) and Louis Doucette. She met her childhood sweetheart, Noll Peppar, at the age of 14 and it was love at first sight. They were married on the 4th of July, 1964, and they really did see fireworks on their honeymoon! Noll alway said God blessed him with a wonderful wife and a wonderful life. Ronaye was always by his side and was his best friend.

Ronaye was a friend to anyone who would let her into their lives. She always put others before herself; she loved with everything she had and gave her heart fully to all. But, above everything else, her family always came first. She was their rock and lived a daily example of strength and compassion.

Her daughter, Lorea says her mother was the strongest woman she knew; she would never quit and would always met adversity head on. Anything of importance, Lorea learned from her mother. She can not express in words how thankful she will always be for her guidance, love, friendship and understanding.

Ronaye was predeceased by her parents, Rhoda and Louis Doucette, her beloved son-in-law, David Hokanson and her lovely daughter, Jodi Peppar.

She is survived by her spouse, Noll Peppar, her children Lorea Hokanson, Collon (Sandy)Peppar and Genora Sorinson; grandchildren Casey (Katherine) Hokanson, Dusty (Janice) Hokanson, Melissa Sorinson, Brenda (Sean Marley) Hokanson, C.J. (Maria Gonzales) Peppar, Nauthasha Sorinson, Kyle (Anastasia) Peppar, Branden (Stephanie) Peppar, Alex Sorinson, Chase (Monica) Peppar and Trent Peppar: great grandchildren, Spencer Ash 10, Shane 5, Olive 4, Harper 4, Leon 2, Theo 1, Braxton 1 and her beautiful cats Guss Guss and Buster. She is gone from their sight, but never from their hearts.

In lieu of flowers, Ronaye would have loved you to give a donation to your favorite charity or cause.

We met the first day of High School, and we stayed friends all these years. Didn't get to see her as much as would have liked because we lived so far from each other. I will also remember Ronaye and miss her so much.

Ronaye was a beautiful lady. She was the first person to talk to me about living a conscious life. I didn't even know what that meant at the age of 23, but Ronaye showed me by her example. She inspired me with her open heart and mind to seek the truth and live in love. I treasure her friendship and who she was.

I met Ronaye and Noll quite a few years ago and always enjoyed seeing them, although I had lost touch with them, I haven't forgotten. Ronaye was a lovely person. I'm happy that I was able to know her. My deepest sympathy for the loss of Ronaye, a kind and compassionate person who made the world a better place.
