Steven A. Daggs

Steven A. Daggs was born to Richard A. Daggs and Mary Sue on November 23, of 1958. He was big brother to Corrie Jeanne by a mere 16 months and again several years later to his baby brother, Douglas Jones, with his mother’s second marriage to Donald Jones.

Steven was very intelligent, with a passion for photography and muscle cars. He followed in his step-father Don’s footsteps by becoming a Journeyman Plumber and excelling in the art of welding. He loved music and the challenge of rebuilding. His passion for life was sometimes overwhelming, but Steven simply loved. He was considered a nerd in his time - not great at sports, much more a techie, but would have been highly sought after in today’s market if he had only seen the beauty in himself.

Steven, my dearest, sweet brother, I will always love you with all of my heart; you were simply ahead of your time, yet so beautifully old fashioned too. I will miss you every minute of every day, yet I know now, I truly do have an Angel on my shoulder. I know your brother and nephews will love having you guide them through life offering a helping hand when needed.

Steven is survived by his sister, Corrie Jeanne Worth, and her husband Jim Kraxner; his nephews, Brandon Worth and Edward Kraxner; his brother Douglas Lewis Jones and his wife Alison Jones; and his nephews, Tyler Hohman and Derek Jones. Steven left this world way too early. Please remember how precious life is, and hold the ones near and dear to you always.

Steven I know you were unaware of how much you were loved and wanted. I hope you feel it now and that those who loved you and passed before you were there to receive you with love. I was so thrilled to be in touch with you again as there was a hole in our lives that only you could fill. I hope that your grandparents and dad and uncle Willie are holding you now. Love is forever sweet soul.

Corrie and Doug - So sorry for your loss. Steve and I first met in Grade 6 and spent a ton of time together through high school and beyond. I look back on those times with a smile.

My deepest sympathies to Corrie, Jim and Doug. Steve was the kind of guy that was unique in his passions, skills and big heart. I met him in high school, and we used to hang out for years thereafter. He will be missed.
