Buddy E. Jordan

Service Information

Bud requested there not be a formal service or funeral, and a private family and friend gathering will be scheduled.

Buddy E. Jordan (78) of Custer, Washington, passed away peacefully on November 9, 2023.

Buddy, fondly known as Bud, was born to Cleo and Neva Jordan in New York. The Jordan family moved to Ferndale in the early 1950s, and Bud joined the U.S. Navy after high school.  After he completed his service, Bud returned to Whatcom County, and enjoyed spending his free time fishing, gardening, woodworking, and spending time with his dogs. He had a wicked sense of humor and delighted in playing practical jokes on friends and family.  Never one to let an opportunity pass, almost everyone has a crazy story to tell.

Bud is survived by his wife, Donna, his daughters, Lori (Brian) Kale, and Jamie (Clint) Feller, and his grandchildren, Cameron, Hayden, and Dakota. He is also survived by his sisters Janice Byers, Diana (Roger) McCall and Patty (Bob) Christiansen, his brothers Larry (Judy) Jordan and Ron Jordan, as well as several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the staff at St. Joseph Hospital and Whatcom Hospice House for their care and assistance to Bud.

In lieu of flowers to the family, please consider making a donation to the Whatcom Humane Society in his honor.

Memories

From Audra (Pangbur…

Dear Donna and family,
I was so sad to hear of Buddy's passing. When Bill & I owned the Custer Store we often saw him. He never failed to make everyone smile or laugh. It was who he was... everyone enjoyed his company, including me.
There are folks that leave this world far too young, he is one of those. Please know that you are in my prayers and that Buddy will never be forgotten.
Sincerely,
Audra
