Geoffrey Alan Harrison
A memorial service will be held on July 6, 2024, at 11:00 am at Ten Mile Cemetery.
Geoffrey Alan Harrison, 74, of Lynden, WA, passed away on June 6, 2024. Born on April 10,
1950, in Boulder, CO to William Theodore Harrison and Darlene Rose Harrison (Lewis). He was
a devoted husband to Catherine Ann Harrison (Hildreth), a loving father to John, Christine, and
Brian Harrison, and a grandfather to five grandchildren.
Dad was hard-working and dedicated. He spent 40+ years working as a welder/machinist, where
he was known for his attention to detail and commitment to his work. Despite his many
responsibilities, he always made time for his family and his passions.
Though Dad may not have liked being the center of attention, he deserves to have his long years
of fatherly love honored. He was a man of kindness and generosity, and he left a lasting impact
on everyone who knew him.
Dad's hobbies and interests helped define who he was. He enjoyed playing his guitar, listening to
jazz, fishing, gold panning, hiking, and spending time with his wife, Catherine.
Geoffrey was preceded in death by his parents, William Theodore Harrison and Darlene Rose
Pearson, his brothers, Ted and Leon Harrison, and his loving wife, Catherine Ann Harrison.
He is survived by John (Schurie) Harrison, Christine (Steven) Jones, Brian Harrison, and five
grandchildren: Mathew, Riley, Audrey, Joshua, and Asher as well as many friends and extended
family members who will miss him dearly.
We find comfort in knowing that Dad's legacy lives on through the lessons he taught us, the love
he shared, and the memories we will cherish forever.

Gee, I just happened to google your dad’s name today. I thought I’d try to find and get in contact him again. We’re old friends from the 1970s. The last time we saw your dad and mom was about 1980 at our house. In fact, your mom was pregnant with John.
We worked with your Dad at Beckman Instruments in Palo Alto and my husband, Don Bill, and your dad played in bands together. I’m so saddened to find out they’ve both passed. Ted and Lonnie too.
We’re very sorry for your loss.
From Marilyn Epstein Webb
I am saddened to discover your dad's passing. Geoff was my first boyfriend. I lived across the street from where his band practiced. He was a year older than me and we went to different high schools. I have such fond memories of him. It seems his kindness stayed with him through the years. May his memory be a blessing to his family and friends.
