Jamie Locke, 43, of Bellingham passed away, unexpectedly, on May 13, 2025
Jamie Marie Locke was born on May 27th, 1981, in Bellingham, WA, to Randy and Debbie Peterson. Jamie spent her entire life in Bellingham. As a child she played soccer and loved being outdoors—camping, riding bikes, and exploring. She attended both Sehome and Bellingham High Schools, where she formed many cherished friendships that lasted throughout her life. Jamie had such a lively caring personality that made people fall in love with her as soon as they met her.
In 2002, she married Glen Foster, and together they had three children: Kameron, Jacob, and Brianna. Jamie held many different jobs throughout her adult life, including positions at Clark’s Red Apple, Godfather’s Pizza, Boss Tweed, and eventually running her own cleaning business. But by far, her most important role—and the one she held most dear—was being a mother. She loved and cared for her children more than anything in the world. Jamie especially enjoyed camping, lake days, and movie nights spent with her kids.
In 2019, Jamie married the love of her life, Cory Locke. Although their time together was cut short, their love was immeasurable and everlasting. Together they made countless memories, embracing Jamie’s passion for the outdoors—camping, taking road trips, and enjoying evenings by backyard campfires.
Jamie was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Darrell and Donna Peterson; her maternal grandparents, Ernest and Eleanor Donahue and step- grandparents John and Eve Talmage; her Uncle, Danny Peterson and Aunt Bonnie Goodwin.
She is survived by her husband, Cory Locke; her children, Kameron Foster, Jacob (Juanita) Foster, and Brianna Foster; one grandchild, Eliza, and another on the way; her parents, Randy and Debbie Peterson; her sister, Julie (Patrick) Taylor; her nieces and nephews: Nick, Dylan, Mya, Macy, Gracy, and Marissa; as well as many other beloved family members, friends, and countless others whose lives were touched by Jamie’s love and kindness.
