Nickolas J. Kennedy
A celebration of his life will be held July 24, 1:00 pm at Cornwall Church, 4518 Northwest Drive, Bellingham, Pastor Mike Ford officiating.
Nickolas James Kennedy, lifelong Whatcom County resident, was born to Scott and Deanna Kennedy on February 20, 1981, and passed away suddenly May 29, 2024 from pancreatitis. He was 43 years old.
He was born in Bellingham, attended Alderwood Elementary, Shuksan Middle School, and graduated from Bellingham/Squalicum High School in 1999, where he played baseball and football. He played basketball in Boys & Girls Club League and AAU basketball League. He married Amanda Brugmann February 16, 2016 in Las Vegas. He worked for Brooks Manufacturing for ten years, and at various jobs for Specified Fittings. He also painted houses.
He is survived by his parents, two sons, Jacob and Ryder, a stepson Caleb Brugmann, stepdaughter Natalie Prince, sisters Juanita and Rende Kennedy, brother Scott Kennedy (Becky), numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by grandparents Afton Paul and Loretta Bollinger, and Marvin and Laura Kennedy.
Nick will be missed by many. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Boys and Girls Club of Whatcom County.

I am so sorry for the loss of Nick, so enjoyed my times with him. This is such a tragic event. My condolences to all for their loss, especially his children.
