Taylor Alexander Goode, 36, passed away on June 17, 2026, in Anacortes, WA.

Taylor grew up in Bellingham and Anacortes, graduating from Anacortes High School. Taylor possessed a magnetic energy and a kindness that allowed him to collect friends easily wherever he went. He was a genuinely funny, deeply empathetic and fiercely loyal friend who was always there when someone needed help.

Taylor's adventurous nature was unmatched. He was the kind of person who didn't just say, “we should hang out,” he made it happen. When his cousin Caitlin casually messaged him one evening to tell him she was in Vegas with her friends, Taylor didn't want to miss out on the fun. The next morning Taylor was knocking on the hotel room door, ready to turn a text into an unforgettable Vegas adventure.

To know Taylor was to know a wonderful mix of his comforting presence and pure, radiant fun. He was the person who could effortlessly hold space for you when you needed it most, and in the next moment, have you crying tears of laughter with his Audrey Hepburn impressions. Taylor loved the simple pleasures and the finer details of life. He loved the beach, listening to music, watching old movies, road trips, singing at the top of his lungs in the car, and driving his VW Bug to all the cheeseburger joints near and far. He had a sharp eye for fashion, clothes, design, photography, sunglasses, skincare, great cologne, and loved shopping. Taylor was just as famous for his legendary late night kitchen habits, whether he was making a massive, towering sandwich with soup, or whipping up a batch of mashed potatoes at midnight.

As a dedicated and loving son, Taylor cherished his parents. His family fondly remembers his unwavering support, including the time he stayed by his father's side through emergency hospital surgery.

Above all, Taylor loved his family and friends. He leaves behind countless friends and a large close-knit family of aunts, uncles, cousins and nephews. We will miss his caring nature, his contagious laugh, and the vibrant, joyful energy he brought to every family gathering. The brightness Taylor brought to this world will be deeply missed, but his kind soul will be remembered forever.

Taylor is survived by his father, Dan Goode; his mother, Barbara Murray-Odom; his brother Derek Goode; his nephews Brantley Goode and Dawson Goode; and his grandmother Barbara Buckley.
