Bernice Wilma Mulder (Geerdes), age 97, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on May 24, 2021 in Bellingham, WA. She was born on February 27, 1924 in Edgerton, Minnesota to Henry and Gertrude Geerdes. Bernice’s life is a testament to her faith and love for her family. Bernice held strongly to her Christian faith as a foundation for her life.
Bernice worked for many years in the healthcare industry before retiring to travel the US with her husband, Sybrant “Sy”, in their RV. Her family was a source of joy…traveling together, family barbeques, and sharing her gift of baking cookies. Bernice will always be remembered for her strong faith, positive outlook on life, kindness that she showed to others, and the joy and laughter that she brought to those around her.
Bernice is preceded in death by her husband Sy and sister Betty. She is survived by her children, daughter Priscilla (Gerald), son John, and daughter Rachel (Tom), grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, and sister Marion.
