A celebration of his life to share memories is at their home, 2584 Haynie Rd, Custer, WA on Friday, July 19, any time between 1:00 p.m. 4:00 p.m. There will be a remembrance at 2:00 p.m.

Clarence Leon (Lonny) Paul Jr. passed away Friday July 12, 2013, after a lengthy illness. Lonny is survived by is wife Christina, daughter Tanya Dostal and husband Doug, and sister Joan Lanpher and husband Michael. His mother, father, and son Jay predeceased him.

Lonny was born in Wapato, WA on January 16, 1939, attended WSU, married Christina in 1960 in Glenwood, WA, where they raised sheep before they moved to Custer in 1962. Lonny worked for the Washington State Department of Agriculture until he and Chris started their dairy operation in 1969.

Their grandchildren are Orin and Brittany Paul, Kenneth, Kelsey, and Kaitlyn Reeck, Evie and Michael Dostal, and Jessica Campbell (Jarrod) and her children, Adriana, Jacob, and Charlotte. Lonny was a member of Puget Sound Tractor and Machinery Assn., Haynie Grange, and the Lost Dutchmen Mining Assn. Lonny worked in the dairy business until 2003, and enjoyed woodworking and collecting and restoring antique tractors and farm equipment.
