Dawn Wagner Mankle
A memorial service will be held on August 1, 2014 at 12 Noon at Cornwall Church on 4518 Northwest Dr. in Bellingham. A potluck reception will follow at the Mankle household.
Dawn A’Lyce Mankle (Wagner) was born on February 3, 1960. She was raised in Bellingham, Washington, and graduated from Bellingham High School in 1978.
She married Brian Mankle on November 15, 1980, and after raising two sons worked with the Ugandan Orphans Choir and took mission trips to Haiti.
She enjoyed knitting, baking, and singing with the Harmony Northwest Chorus.
Dawn had great love and empathy for others and loved making people smile. Countless lives were impacted by her affection and quirky sense of humor.
Dawn is survived by her husband Brian, sons Brandon and Brett, and mother Sharon Wagner.

Brian, Brandon and Brett, my heart breaks with you all and rejoices and the same time....Dawn is with Jesus! My Jon passed a few months ago so I understand where you are at. Your service honored Dawnie so well, she was such a special person. What a privilege to have known her. I'm so sorry I had no idea until I ran into Brandon. Dawn was such an amazing person and a neighborhood mom she was very much loved by us kids in the neighborhood she was always good for a hug when we needed it or an after school snack. She will not be forgotten♥
