Doris was preceded in death by her parents, John & Ida Grassmeyer, her husband P. Ward Heathers (married 39 years, passed away in 1982) & her sister, Josephine Remington.
She has always attributed her longevity to her faith in God, love for her family & her music.  She enjoyed Easy Crossword Puzzles, Avon, her police scanner & she loved to laugh.
