We are so sorry for your loss sending healing prayers.
From Jordan Adams
I got to watch Drew come to life during our time together at Rivendell. He found a hunger for truth and his faith exploded as together, we challenged each other and pursued God's prescribed Good Life. Drew was and forever will be a Truth Seeker. I enjoyed waking up to the journey with him and seeing our time together culminate in him further pursuing reconciliation of philosophical questions. His fervor for understanding echoes in my own heart. Even now while he communes in perfect love with his heavenly father, I will continue in our once mutual pursuit. His faith and hope have now satisfied and his search is over as he's been found by Ultimate Love, Himself.
I'll miss you Drew, and I look forward to seeing you again someday.
Forever In Christ Alone,
Jordan Adams

Drew was was my son's dear friend, and he came to hold a special place in our family. Drew and Sam shared a room at Rivendell, and we laughed at the story of how during the cold winter months that tiny frigid space was heated by Drew's massive TV.
It was heartwarming when Drew moved to Bellingham, and he and Sam were able to spend more time together. I loved having him in my home for two Christmases, and I will keep his stocking as a reminder of those happy times together.
Richard and Patti, I'm devastated with you in your loss. There are no words. You are held in the hearts of everyone who loved your Drew.
From Amanda Davis
I went to school at Bethany, the other college on campus with Rivendell. I didn't know Drew very well, but what I did notice when our paths crossed was that he always had a smile on his face when ever I saw him. His eyes had this quiet joy about them. I can only deduce that it was Christ I saw in his eyes.

From Nancy and Brett Frey
I will never forget Drew's first ferris wheel ride at the 4th of July carnival in Forest Lake when he was so young, and then as an adult, the conversations with him in White Bear as he talked about his plans for the future when he graduated from Northwestern University. He was a smart young man with a bright future and was a joy to be around. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Patti and Richard my heart breaks for you both, but Drew will never be far. He will live in our hearts and memories forever.
Sending you love, comfort, and courage to face the days ahead,
Nancy and Brett Frey

From Robert "Bob" D…
Since learning of Drew's passing, I have been feeling increasingly devastated. I have known Drew since his birth. Although contact with him has been limited in recent years (for geographical reasons), I have memories of Drew as an infant, a child, an adolescent and as an adult; those memories will be cherished. He will be missed.
