Dwight J. Haskins

Dwight was born on December 23, 1958, in Seattle, and raised in Bellingham. Dwight graduated from WSU with a degree in accounting. He later obtained a CPA and an MBA.

Dwight and his wife, Frances, moved back to Bellingham three years ago, after a career with the FDIC, as a senior Financial Analyst in Washington, D.C. Dwight was an exceptional writer and he finished his book, American Betrayal, in 2013 about the banking crisis. In his spare time, Dwight liked to work on creating electronic art, touring thrift shops, reading books, traveling to Europe with his wife, and having friends and family over for barbeques.

Dwight is survived by his wife, Frances, as well as his two sons, Michael (Joy) and David, and his grandsons Jayden and Jordan. He is also survived by his parents Eloise Haskins, Fred Haskins (wife Yoshiko), and brothers Doug, Darryl (Rebecca), and Dean (Rose) along with several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
