My sypathies to your family . I had quite a few visits with him when he would walk out on Chuckanut and up the Hiline Road. I lived right across from the Hiline Road. He was a great souce of Chuckanut History and I have missed seeing him  because I used to see him also at Target when I worked there and he would walk over to the Mall. I know you also lost your Mother not too long ago. Having lost both my parents I know even when they have been ill it is a real loss

My sincere condolences to your family in this time of your loss.  I know that Mr. Judd will be greatly missed.  I grew up on Chuckanut Drive with the Judd family and always considered Mr. Judd a great guy.  When I later returned to Chuckanut Drive as the Head Ranger of Larrabee State Park, Mr. Judd was always one of my staunchest supporters.  I enjoyed visiting with him and Mrs. Judd, and really leaned on his knowledge of the Chuckanut Area.  I always kind of thought of him as "Mr. Chuckanut".  He was always happy and had the warmest greeting whenever I saw him "Hello Scottie".  Thank you Mr. Judd for being a pleasant part of my life.  Scott W. I've enjoyed reading his stories in the Chuckanut Memories, and thank him for writing those memories for locals to read.

As a youngster, I spent two weeks visiting the Judds home in Belliingham. Ŵhat a great time I had. Over the years I have visited the graves of many Judds in Sac City, along with many in my own family. SO MANY MEMORIES!
