Dear Elisabeth, Marika and Jaqueline:
Harold was a good friend to Eric and I, I will always remember the good times we spent together in Dallas, the wonderful work Harold did for the refugees in the Cambodian community as well as his tutoring to underpriviledged children. He was a very interesting, intelligent and likeable friend, Harold was the firs one to install a computer at our refugee agency in East Dallas and took the time to instruct us in an art that in 1984 was like exploring Mars. It is my hope that if Harold and Eric meet, they will still be talking computer. Please accept my condolences and remember my heart goes out to all of you.

This web page quotes C.S. Lewis as saying "there are no ordinary people . . . ." He must have met Harold along the way since Harold was anything but ordinary. We're glad we got to meet him.
We will miss Harold, and wish you, Elisabeth, Jacqueline, Marika and families strength and grace to get through this time of grief.

To Elisabeth, Marika and Jacquiline: I am so sorry for your loss. I knew Harold as a very good quilter and interesting man. I'm so glad he was in a quilt guild with all of us ladies; he added dimension to the group. I have fond memories of working with him on various projects. I appreciate his interest and spirit. Harold will be greatly missed by us quilters and I know that all of you will miss him terribly, but feel greatful he was a great part of your lives. In sympathy, Anara Thomas

Elisabeth, Jacqueline and Marika and Family. We send our most heartfelt sympathies to you and your families for your loss. We have been in each others lives for over 40 years, have shared happy times and supported each other through sad times. We will always think of Harold and the happy times we shared when the kids were young. I remember when we had him for dinner @ 518 Central when you were in Holland. Being the gentleman he was , he brought beautiful flowers as a hostess gift. I went to get a vase and he thought it helpful to put his coat in our room. The door was closed , the room dark. He opened the door and fell over my ironing board. (My hasty way of cleaning before c
