Kenneth Eugene Madison

Ken went home to be with the Lord on October 4, 2021. He was born February 4, 1929 in Plattsmouth, Nebraska to James and Augusta Madison. Ken served in the United States Army Artillery Branch and was a member of the American Legion Post 7 in Bellingham, Washington. Ken married Ethel Loseke on February 16, 1958 at Columbus, Nebraska. She was the love of his life, but after her death in 2012, Ken became friends with a wonderful woman from church, Vivian McPhillips, whose spouse had also passed away. They fell in love and were married August 9, 2014 and lived a fulfilling and happy life together until her death in August 2020. Ken had one sister, Marjorie, and two brothers Richard and Robert. He is survived by his brother Robert ( Dana) Madison, daughter Julie (Elmer) Dooyema of Lynden, WA, son Jim (Patti) Madison of Everson WA, grandson Michael (Megan) Madison, great grandson James Madison and numerous nieces and nephews. He was also greatly loved by his stepchildren, Debbie Witherby, Susan (Donnie) Bowers, Judy (Jim) Mulvey, Wendy McPhillips (Marty Butterworth) step grandson Colin McPhillips , and Chris (Candace) McPhillips, step granddaughter Lexi and numerous other step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
