L. Elaine Salvatori

Elaine Salvatori, 78, departed this life in Bellingham, WA, September 4, 2013. Her family was by her side.

She was born on February 27, 1935 in Walla Walla, WA to Millard Ebbert and Lois (Piper). She graduated in 1953 from Jeffferson High School in Portland, OR. She worked for Northwest Airlines in Seattle, WA, where she met and married David Gauthier in 1961. They raised their two children in Enumclaw, WA. Elaine married Erwin Salvatori of Ocean Shores in 1995.

Elaine enjoyed traveling, gardening, cooking, breeding West Highland Terriers, and studying genealogy.

She is survived by her loving mother, Lois Ebbert, children Jean and David Gauthier (Kelli), step-children Douglas Walker (spouse of deceased step-daughter Geralyn), Cynthia Kennedy, step-sons Denny and Jonathan, Jana Jones (step-daughter-in-law), grandchildren Milan and Chayse Gauthier, step grandchildren, sister Glenda Jones (Harmon), brother David Ebbert (Carol), and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She is predeceased by her father, Millard Ebbert, loving husband Erwin Salvatori, and many West Highland White Terriers.

Elaine’s life will be celebrated October 6, at Wesley Gardens in Des Moines, WA.
