Chuck, Laurel, Patricia and extended families. It is not without sadness....... that I try to put pen to paper. After witnessing Linda struggles in her last days.......it relieves me to believing she is finally pain free. I choose to look back.... on our long strong friendship..............reflecting on the joyous interactions over the span of near fifty years........many laughs..........some shock and awe........... May my strong willed lady/friend ....... now rest in peace.
Hugs to all. Ellenore Henery

From Nancy Brown
Chuck, Laurel, Patricia and Family,
I was so very sorry to hear that Linda had passed away but take comfort in knowing that she is now pain free and in a better place. I worked with Linda at the LDB for many years until she retired. She was my mentor - I learned from the best. We all knew that Linda was really the boss! A friend and I had lunch with Linda at the end of June and we could see then that she was struggling but she soldiered on; she was always a trouper. I was very fortunate to have known Linda - a genuine person who will be missed. Remember all of the good times - I certainly will. With sincere sympathy, Nancy

My loss is never having the chance to actually meet Linda. We became facebook friends, playing gardens of time. We could joke around, never losing our cool about such trivial things. We said we had the best name ever, just spelled differently. She was there for me at a time when I had lost someone. Then she let me know about her illness. An unselfish, gracious lady that I will miss greatly. Her name is written on my heart with love. In kindness and sympathy Lynda Ann Beck

Linda was a good friend and colleague for many years at the LDB. She helped me through a very difficult time in my life when my own mother was quite ill and I'll never forget her kindness and willingness to listen. She was a great woman and I send my thoughts and prayers to her family. I will always remember Linda with fondness and smile, Lavaughn Larson
