Margaret Jean St. James

Margaret Jean St. James, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 11th, 2021 at Highgate Memory Care in Bellingham, WA. She was fondly referred to as Peg or Margo.

Margaret was born to George L. St. James and Dorothy Wellman on September 12, 1937 in Bellingham, WA. She attended Mt. Baker High and Bellingham schools. She lived in San Francisco, CA, France, and Orcas Island.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Dorothy, and her husband Paul Avery. She is survived by her son Donald, sister Claudette (Gerrit) Sterk, brothers George (Marilyn) St. James and John Wachter, three grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She will be truly missed by her family and friends.
