A celebration of life will be held at Fairhaven Park Pavilion on Sunday March 22nd from 1:00 to 5:00. Please come and join our family for refreshments and share fond memories.

Mary Jane Todhunter, age 83 of Bellingham, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 15th after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. Mary Jane was born on September 6th 1936 in Bellingham Washington to her loving parents Elmer and Dorothy Gerner. Mary Jane spent her entire life in Chuckanut Village, sharing many great memories with her 3 sisters and 3 brothers and then raising a family.

Mary Jane graduated from Bellingham High School and went on to marry the love of her life Frank Todhunter in 1954. They raised 5 children. She was devoted to her family and friends and always thinking of others.

Mary Jane was caring, thoughtful, and loving she was truly an angel sent from heaven for us all!! She loved being a wife and stay at home mother most of the time…she did have 5 children that could drive her crazy!! Mary Jane loved the outdoors, gardening, photography and taking time to teach her children and grandchildren about the world.

Mary Jane is survived by her husband Frank as well as her 5 children and their spouses: Todd Todhunter and Karen Swanson, Cheryl and Frank Milward, Wendy and Cory Moberg, Malinda and Chad Wilson, Marilyn Henderson. Grandchildren: Brittany and Nik Marjanovic, Aubrie Todhunter, Lacie and Sergio Carrillo, Carley Moberg, Brady Wilson, Kaylee Wilson, Ashley Henderson, Haley Henderson, Jacob Henderson, Diana and Shane Gray, Adam and Megan Christian. Mary’s Siblings and spouses: Carol and Sam Henley, Lewis and Linda Gerner, Curt Gerner, Nita and Merle Buckley, Tammy and Steve Martin.

Passing before her were her parents Elmer and Dorothy, Brother Elmer and Carol Gerner, sister- in- law Nancy Gerner.
