Mary, you have been a dear friend for over twenty years and we've had fun times together, acting, singing, dancing in plays. We had our picture on the cover of a magazine together, dancing the Tango!! Wonderful memories of our trip to Hawaii. We took turns being a grandma in the bed in Willie Wonka. That was fun, but the wooden plank of a bed was very uncomfortable. You had a stage name too. Mary Christensen Ross. Many people only know you by that name. You had many interests and took classes and kept yourself busy when you were'n't working or rehearsing or actually performing in a play. You will be missed by many, and especially by me.

One of the rare individuals you meet that immediately makes you feel valued. A sweet, sensitive, talented lady that is already missed. Although saddened that I didn't get to know her even better I am stronger for having the opportunity to be around her.

Thank you for your kind words. We'll be having a sort of going away potluck for mom at Cornwall park's south shelter on June 9th from 3:30 to 10 or there abouts. Everyone is invited and encouraged to bring some form of potluck picknicky goodness. The shelter itself holds about 32 people but I figure if the weather's good we can spread out a bit on blankets & such. There are restrooms nearby but no sinks or electricity so coolers should be brought for perishables, etc. Alcohol isn't allowed per park rules. Could you please spread the word?

Mary, I've missed having you at work, have enjoyed your company over the years, and helped you with many battles at work. I had thought you were enjoying your retirement, didn't realise you were having health issues. I've thought about you many times since you left, imagined you didn't want to be reminded of where you had worked for many years. Miss you. Sarah, fellow employees have asked about Mary, I will let them know about Pot Luck. Beverly

I have known Mary for over 25 years.....I was talking to Mary about ten days before she passed away. She was telling me how she just got back from a Seattle hospital and what a positive experience it was for her. She told me what an incredible view she had of the Seattle skyline, and how friendly the staff was and how wonderful it was to have her children there. She kept saying what an positive experience it was for her. I told her she making it sound like was on a vacation instead of at a hospital. She just started laughing and said it was kinda like being on a vacation.......what an amazing spirit Mary was.........Aaron, Sarah, and Joseph, I have heard about the three of you for over 25 years. Mary was proud of you, entertained by you, and loved you. My thoughts are with the three of you......Mary was a good friend.

To Aaron, Sarah and Joseph,
Mary was so proud of each of you, and always wanted you to do well in life. We used to have breakfast at a little
French cafe in Bellingham, the one by the Theatre. You were always part of the conversation. Mary loved Folk Dancing, and often talked about
a trip to Europe where she stayed with the local people. One year we drove to Sacramento to a Croatian Picnic.
Mary loved the costumes, food, music and dance, though not necessarily in that order! I am sorry, I shall not be able
to attend her Good-bye Picnic, but my thoughts will be with you. I am sure that where ever Mary is, she'll be dabcing
The music stops, but the melody lingers on.................I can still see her smile.........
