Ronald C. France
There will be a celebration of Ron’s life sometime during the warm, summertime.
Ronald Craig France October 12, 1953 – May 2, 2022, born in Yakima, WA, and later moved to Wenatchee, WA. He passed away peacefully in Bellingham on May 2, 2022. He is survived by his wife, Barbara of 33 years; sister, Sharon (John); daughters Tara (Kurt) and Nicole (Ryan) of Wenatchee; son Camron of Bellingham; cousins, Colleen (Rick), Brian (Kelly), Carolyn; and grandkids, Jackson, Layla, Addilyn, and Wyatt. Captain Ron loved the PNW. The Islands constantly called him, which encouraged the decision between living on land or water. He always said, “If you can get the wife to agree, take it and run!” So, they lived 10 years as live-a-boards and loved every minute. Ron instilled adventure in his kids, pursuing one’s passion and he led by example. Ron was an exceptional craftsman with a fine eye for detail and always gave his best. He will be sorely missed by his family and friends. He leaves a mark of wonderful memories. Ron was preceded in death by his father, Horacio “Frenchie” and mother, Eleanor. If you so desire, donations can be made to Hospice House, Bellingham, WA.
