Sharlotte Pierce, born 3/8/59 in La Mesa, California died March 31st after an almost 2 year battle with cancer. Sharlotte was surrounded by family and passed away early on the 31st. She was a long time resident of Skagit County moving there when she was 18.

Sharlotte was preceded in death by her spouse Jim Pierce, Mother Shirley Ayers and Father Clyde Ayers. She leaves behind 4 children and 7 grandchildren, four siblings, several nieces and nephews, and their children, and numerous other relatives.

Sharlotte was loved by many. She was a non judgmental loving human who didn't ask those she knew for much and gave anything she could. She had an infectious laugh that made even the most sad smile and a sense of humor that the most humorless could not ignore.

May she be free of the pain she had to endure from her illness and may she find in heaven what seemed to elude her down on earth.
We will miss you!

I worked with Sharlotte when we where Harrahs and then again when she came back to the casino. Her and I had alot of good talks and laughs together. So sorry your loss she will be missed.

Sharlotte and I were childhood friends when she lived in Virginia. We giggled at lots of things...had sleep overs...rode ponies...into a lot of good natured mischief...although I have not seen her in 35 yrs she was always in my heart ...there she shall always remain...my heart goes out to all her family, I only got to hold one of her children when she was a baby...wish I could have known you all.

O! sharlotte, in those moments you gave, it will be in their memory ;when all thoughts come in time to listen, the look of your eyes ,that smile you let come , a laugh,a look. Alone ? No, your soul touched a multitude of others. Rest in comfort , for your time has now begun, on this road we walk. Footprints are but a single step, too the millions we leave behind! Thank you for your time you gave. McDonald....
