William "Bill" Gregory, beloved husband, father, brother, friend, and Papa, took his final breath on March 4, the result of an 11 year battle with cancer.
Bill was a man of strong emotion. He lived to serve and protect his family, whom he loved deeply. He served his union with pride and became an icon at the labor hall. He was a regular attender and supporter of the Deming Log Show and was a motorcycle fanatic. And ... he was punny beyond belief.
Bill was preceded in death by his son Christoffer and brother Jeffery. He is survived by his wife, Paula Cooper; brother Steve Gregory; sister Lindy Gregory; his three adoring daughters Neille, Melissa, and Bethany (Ed): six grandchildren (his pride and joy) and countless family members and friends.
While we mourn the loss of his physical presence, we will carry his spirit with us and call upon his strength and sense of humor as we navigate life without him.
We will celebrate the life he fought so hard to live and will forever remember him lovingly and proudly.
